My first swap

So as you all know I participated in my first swap and I loved every second of it...have just realised i am crap at taking pics lol cut off a bottle of polish!

I swapped with Kim and she was amazing I got so many brands that I cannot for the life of me get here and if I can its mega expensive, she also got my waaay to many for what we agreed but it is much appreciated and I couldn't thank her enough :)

Avon Calling

I treated myself to some Avon goodies as one of the ladies in work has started selling it, heres what I got!

Top row L to R - Bench Watch (was only a tenner!), Glossy Delight Lip Juice in Succulent Peach, Ultra Colour Rich Lipgloss in Pout, Grow Potion (for my nails apparently works in 5 days and makes nails healthier), glazewear lipgloss in clear and glimmerstick for eyes in majestic plum (this comes out black though)
Bottom row L to R - Peeling and brittleness solver, speed dry nail polish in rose amour and a little nail buffer/file keyrin
I also got a water bottle with the insert that you can freeze, its in the freezer at the minute hence no piccy of it lol

This lil lot came to £35.25 which is quite reasonable considering what I got and that includes the watch :)

Barry M Lip

So heres a little swatch of the first Barry M lip paint I bought which is Shade 136 and according to the website is called Golden Bronze

Swatched on my hand its a tan/nudey colour with a very shimmery bronze colour mixed in depening on the way the light shines on this it can look from brown to gold

Ebay Haul Part 4

This should be my second last ebay haul or they may be another one after that I am wating on 2 more packages now and thats it til next payday hehe!!

90 Ed Hardy Nail Decals I love them they are cute! There is 10 of each design so if I wanted I could have a full manicure with each of these designs but I will use maybe 1 or 2 at a time :)

Next up is something I have been wanting for a good few months now from I started ready "beauty blogs" Pardon the picture I think my camera is on the way out :(

Ebay Haul Part 3

Sorry I forgot to post this yesterday when the posty came, I was rushing out the door to go post my sister some of her birthday pressie (she gets the rest when she comes here)

I don't know if this is going to work but it was so cheap decided to try it anyway, it feels very dry to the touch, is this normal?

100 fimo rods with the designs in them eek! so excited to play with these, but first I need to know the best way to slice them can anyone help with tips please?
And lastly for yesterdays part was 60 already pre sliced fim flowers just so I could play straight away ( and I have!)
See the little maroon coloured ones up beside my thumb? I have these on at the minute they are very pretty with maroon polish and silver glitter :)
Will do a post later to show you all I am getting very lazy at showing off my nails even though I paint them every second day lol!

Watch This Space

Hi all, over the next few days you may notice some unusual bits about here, I am learning and changing all my layout etc...I have a new layout and managed to switch over to 3 columns aswell, I am now looking at how to add a blogroll on then I will be adding more pages hopefully if I can do that also. I am also going to be adding a wishlist just so I can have visibility of it myself :)

A Lil random catch up post....

Hi all, this is just going to be a random miscellaneous post of things I have maybe missed out in telling you all the last few weeks :)

Ok so where to start....

• I have completed my management training in work now and now have a team of 11 people to look after. This was an intense 2 weeks as at the start I had the bad migraine ( I was seriously floored for about 3 days but I am fine now)
  
• I got my cinema pass finally, now for £13.50 per month I can go to the cinema as many times as I want, as long as I go at least twice per month I will be saving money (I have already been twice this month)
• I also got my library card though aswell, I got it on Friday and went to the library on Saturday and got out a few books. I really miss reading, I used to read all the time so I am going to get back into it. I am going to be using this blog to post lil reviews then once I finish a book.
  
• I have had a lot of new experiences this month, on payday I went to Sallys with the intention of getting some nail art bits and pieces....hmmm....I ended up spending way to much money on very little, I know from now on to order from ebay or USA or something. I got 2 bottles of China Glaze in Turned Up Turquoise and Limbo Bimbo, China Glaze Matte Magic and a Seche Vite top coat and this all cost me over £40!!! I nearly died at the till lol!
• I also went to a beauty counter for the first time in my life and probably the last, it is soo imtimidating when you have 6 girls pounce on you at once and dont even give you a chance to look for what you are wanting....eventually I settled on just getting Urban Decay Primer Potion which is what I was going to get anyway but I was also going to get some other bits to try but now I wont be going to another beauty counter I will buy online instead.

I think that is everything that I have missed out on telling you all for now, I will post more tomarrow as I am wanting to do some more reviews and also ask some advice I am also going to be setting up and formspring and email address just for this blog so you can all use those then to ask questions or write fan mail hehe!!!

Ebay Haul Part 2

So here is what the posty brought me this morning and I am still waiting on another 6 or 7 packages :)

So todays haul got me a ipod strap thingy for when I go running ( or I my case - tripping over myself ) eventually :)
I also got a package of teeny dried flowers for my nails ( will show a close up pic in a min ) and 10 rolls of nail art striping tape, the colours I got are

Movie Review 2 - Street Dance 3D

On Sunday 6th June I went to see this film, I had wanted to see if since it came out as I love the dance movies so Sunday it was a pretty grey day outside and rained most of the day so I took it upon myself to go to the cinema.
I also took a huge step and went to the cinema to see this on my own which is something I would never ever have done when I was back home, but you know what I actually quite enjoyed it lol!

I loved this film, it had a good little plot line and the dancing was amazing, the 3d was ok, I am still getting used to 3d and this was only my second film in 3d (the 1st being Avatar) so I think to compare both would be totally unfair!

I totally enjoyed this film and it helped a lot that the main guy in it was totally hot hehe!!!
Go see if you like this kind of thing, I doubt you will be disappointed :)

Movie Review 1 - Death at a Funeral

Thursday 3rd June I went to see this film on a whim as I had to go to the cinema to get my unlimited movie pass,

This was undoubtedly the funniest film I have seen in a long long time, lots of times during the film the whole room was actually laughing out loud which as you know is unusual in most films you normally just get a little giggle!

I am not going to give away any plotlines when I do these reviews, if you are interested you could always check out IMDB for that or such, I don't want to ruin things for you all :)

I would even go see this film again which is saying much for me cos unless its Harry Potter or The Twilight Saga, I would not go near the cinema again to see a film a second time!

I would definately recommend this film to anyone who is looking for a laugh do not let the title put you off haha!!

Todays Toes and Fingernails

Hi all! Again!

Here is the mani/pedi I done last night, as you can see if have shorties for finger nails! I had to cut them all down about 2 weeks ago as they were in a right state, they seem to be growing out nicely now so fingers crossed it stays that way :)

On my finger nails I done a simple french tip and used one of my pens to add the glitter line underneath then added some random purple rhinestones :)

I think it turned out quite pretty and simple compared to my toenails which are below, I kinda went a little Crazy!!!

I used Collection 2000 Dynasty as a base then a "few" pens to add the graffiti style lol! Totally did not turn out the way I wanted to hey ho its going to happen until I get more practice :)

The posty just came and delivered another 3 packages so I will upload those next

Ebay haul part 1

So here is the 1st part of my haul from ebay recently I am waiting on everything else coming still, as it comes in I will post everything one by one as I bought quite a few bits there :)

I played with these last night once I got home and the next 2 posts coming up you will see what I achieved (fore warning - its not the best but it was my first attempt!)

So onto the haul I got 60 bottles which have both a fine nib and a fine liner brush, there is a massive variety of colours the whole top one and one at the bottom are all glitters and then the rest is a mixture!

I got my bottles here and they cost me £20 including postage for them all!

This is my little sisters book, she loved reading it so much I decided to borrow it when I was last back home.
This book has so many good parts in it, to be honest I dont actually think there were many boring, hard to get through parts :)
It was an easy read with a lot of funny parts and some sad parts (I was actually crying at one stage!)
If you like light reads and autobiographies I think you would enjoy this book especially if you are one of the younger generation.

I am going to start doing these book reviews along with movie reviews as well just to give this blog an all rounder feel, I hope you all enjoy them and maybe end up reading or watching new things also :)
