NOTD featuring Barry M Blue Moon

Hiya!


This was a forerunner for my Back to Work mani but I decided it was too plain and I needed something with a bit more pizazz :D 



Barry M Blue Moon, this is 3 coats and its still a little sheer, I think formula wise this is very thin compared to other Barry M's I have



Then of course because I couldn't leave well enough alone here it is stamped...









I used Barry M Navy for the stamping

Today's post is quite an achievement for me lol! I done my first proper water marble and it came out ok (ish) some nails arent perfect but I like it :D

(sorry the pictures are so washed out, its a lot brighter in real life!)

New Nailart Series - Inspired by Bloggers! Pt 2

Hi girlies! 

I got an awesome response to the 1st part of this series yesterday I was so happy! I was really excited to start my second inspired mani so I got cracking straight away this morning hehe!!!

Ok this one should be fairly easy to guess!

Its inspired by good friend Megans blog! Painting Rainbows!!! I hope you like it Megan!!!

Heres another quick look at this mani, on the thumb I painted a brush with some paint dots, please excuse the brush I am poop at freehand lol! On my fingers I painted my base then used 2/3 blobs of each colour paint and a toothpick to flick out the edges of the blobs...yes highly technical here in my wee blog ;)

For this mani I used the following

New Nailart Series - Inspired by Bloggers! Pt1

Hi all!

I had an idea this morning while painting swatch wheels about a new mini nail art series I wanted to do!!! I am super excited about this as it includes some of my awesome blogging friends :D

The idea I had was to do a nailart series based on blognames! I have picked 5 bloggers who have names which I can easily make nailart designs for and right now you can see the first one!!!

Let's see if any of you can guess who it is ;)

Hmm let's see...a nice midnight blue colour, stars and galaxies...hmmmm

Anyone got it yet???

This design has been inspired by none other than Midnightmanicures!

Everyone please go and check Jeanie out, she is awesome and one of the sweetest people I have "met" in the blogging world <3

I used Barry M Navy, SallyGirl Silver Glitter, random silver glitter striper for the shooting star tail and little iridescent stars.

Happy Mail Day plus a few recent buys

Hiya, its been a while from I showed you any hauls of a sort so here is a few new polishes I have aquired in the last week

The Ciate was free with this months Marie Claire and the Barry M's were 2 for £4.99 in Superdrug

Next pic is what I received this morning from my awesome friend Caroline she surprised me with a thankyou package for a recent swap we done! She had mailed me to say she was sending something but didn't say but OMFG I nearly peed my pants this morning when I received it see picture to see why!

Sinful Colours Frenzy, WNW Kaleidoscope, EOS Lipbalm in Peach and ChinaGlaze LOL

She got me stuff from my wishlist and the most fabby thing ever was LOL, I have these on my wishlist but never expected to get it so I was shocked to see the silver cap it took me a minute to realise what it was lol! The EOS lipbalm is fricking awesome aswell, I don't think I will ever want to buy another brand so girlies keep supplying me hehe ;)

Lively in orange!

Hi all!

Here's a pic of the current mani i done last night, it is Milani 'lively in orange' with Barry M white shatter on accent nails.

For an orange its really pretty and very wearable :) i got this from mylucidbubble in a recent swap and can't thank her enough!

Barry M Collection & Swatches *warning PIC heavy!*

Hi all I hope you enjoy this post! I decided to start swatching my stash and showing you all :)

I will do this over the space of a few days but hope by end of next week you can see my whole collection, I don't have as big a stash as some other ladies, at last count I had about 60 bottles.

Essie Crackle Mani

Hi dolls

As promised here is the look I done last night with my new Barry M crackle polish

I used Essie Perky Purple which I recently got in a swap with MyLucidBubble, if you don't know who she is go check her out she is awesome :)

The essie dries matte and is a really pretty colour after 2 coats the first coat went on badly but the second is amazing :) After the 2 coats I topped it off with the white crackle and this is the look I got I love it :) The only negative about this is that the crackle seemed to pull the base coat along with and kind of cracked the base too? very strange but I will definitely be trying more combos out soon

Long awaited MINI Haul!!!

Hi Dolls

Eventually today I managed to pick up the new Barry M shatter colours!!
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

Can you feel my excitement lol, I went straight from Boots to work and swatched them haha!

The Blue is a lot lighter than the pic shows, sorry for the bad quality I took the pic with my Ipod :(

I got them on 3 for 2 at Boots so paid £7.98 for all 3 bottles :)

I am currently doing a mani with the white and will show pics tomorrow in sunlight as its now dark and pics will be horrible

Have any of you picked these up yet? what do you think which is your fave??

Wednesday Haul part 2! (pic heavy)

Part 2 of Wednesday's Haul! I didnt realise how much I bought haha

The first things are all from internacionale

White bodysuit was £5 I think

Now onto other shops and were I seen the enabling coming into play haha!

Left - Super strengh nail polish remover (Superdrug £1.99)
Right - Batiste Tropical ENABLED! (Superdrug £2.09)
Left - Skin/Hair/Nails multi vits (Superdrug £4.99)
Right - Cotton Wool pads, these are really soft and padded I love em! (Morrisons)
Left - Barry M nail paint in Coral ENABLED! I would never have picked up Barry M until I seen all the reviews on the your blogs :) (Superdrug £2.95)
Right - Gosh nail polish in Rainbow ENABLED! again I would never have touched Gosh products because of the price but this one is wearable over any polish so I gave in lol! (Superdrug £5)
Sleek Palettes in Sunset and Storm, I know have Sunset, Storm, Acid, Bohemian and Original. I think the only one I am missing is Safari? Am I right? Answers on a postcard please :)

The next little lot are all from the pound shop!
I love using baby oil when I am shaving my legs I dunno why I just do :)
The cooling mist for me is a handbag essential once it starts getting warmer so I am going to start stocking up now hehe!
Do I need to put a description lol!
I wont be using these for actually applying makeup but I have seen a few sponging techniques on manicures so wanna use them for that :)

Last but definately not least for Wednesday's haul is some products that were definately ENABLED! I would never have went near this shop in a million years until I came across all your blogs its LUSH!!!

I must say the atmosphere in the Lush shop and the sales girl I was speaking to were absolutely brilliant, because it was my first time in a Lush store I even got a personal tour and demonstrations, I got samples and conversation, something you wouldnt get in a normal shop! I think I am a convert :)
