Sorry haven't blogged in a few days I have been really ill with a bad migraine since Monday,

I cant even sit up I have been off work since 1pm yesterday and all day today, I have to go back in tomarrow but will see how it goes.

OOTD 17/05/2010

Here is todays outfit, super comfy summer dress from Matalan buy it here, they dont have my colour on their website anymore but there are 2 other colour options, this dress was £12 and I love it, this is it's second outing already along with the shoes below hehe!

These are kids dept gladiator sandals, they are from Dunnes so again I don't know if they are widely available in England, Scotland or Wales, sorry. These were a bargain at only £4!!!
I love having small feet :) (please note the shoes are not too tight or digging into me at the top its the way I had my foot angled for the pic lol)

Can I also say thanks for the tips on taking my OOTD pics, this one I tried with the vertical shoot and think it worked much better, I will keep practising and hopefully everyone will get better :)

Another Question Answered (how I got into Nail Polish)...and NOTD featuring Instyle Candy

Ok so last week when I asked if anyone had any questions they would like me to answer, Susie requested that I talk about my love for nailpolish and how I got into it?

Well Susie here is your answer my dear :)

When I was little I was the biggest and I mean biggest tomboy but I didnt like getting dirty or anything like that haha but I always had my nails painted for some strange reason lol!
My mum wasn't the type that wore makeup everyday (only on special occasions) and she never wore nail polish (even to this day if you paint her nails she will pick if off straight away!)

I always had nail polish though cos I had one aunty who I seen regurlarly and always had her nails painted so I can only assume that is where my nail polish obsession came from lol!

I always used to watch her and want to copy her, my actual need for my own polish and stuff i reckon came around the time I started high school and seen everyone else having all their own stuff so thats where it really took off I reckon.

I was never really a collector as such I just grabbed whatever nail polish I liked the look of and once I got fed up with it, I gave it away or threw it away.
Before I moved over here to Edinburgh all my nail stuff was given to my sister, so I came to edinburgh with a french manicure set of polishes and that was it! Now I am starting afresh and learning so many new things I am loving it, it feels like a new beginning and I am happy with that...

I want to get to learn how to freehand nail art and do more Konad, I am currently compiling a mental wishlist of which brands I wanna try and such aswell :)

A Question Answered...

Hi all,
Jess asked in my first OOTD post where I got this cardy from so I am here to tell you all :)

This came from Dunnes, which is a Irish based store, I don't know if there any in England, Scotland or Wales.

I can't remember what it cost, but a helpful tip if any of you do have a Dunnes store and find this cardy buy a few sizes bigger, its a very small fitting!

OOTD: 14/5/2010

Here is yesterday's OOTD, I decided to start doing these as it will show all my new clothes I got when I was back home without doing a massive haul post as seriously I spent way too much money on clothes lol

Can anyone give me tips on taking full length self portrait shots, I cant seem to get them right and as you can see I have no feet in this one lol, I tried with a mirror but cant get it to work...any advise would be great :)

Review: Lush Retread Conditioner

Next review for today is Lush Retread conditioner which costs £8.60 for 245g tub

What Lush say about this product -
Triple strength conditioner for extra softness. As with so many Lush products, Retread appears to resemble a cholesterol-laden pudding. It is scented with violets and oranges with a hint of sensual musk. We dip our hands in and plaster the super-smoothing cream all over our hair for the seaweed, yoghurt, cantaloupe melon and jojoba oil to give seriously sad hair its shine back. Do not use it if your hair is lifeless and limp, Retread would squash it flat. Use it when your hair is feeling rough, harsh and wrecked. Retread will restore its sanity.

What I say about this product -
I love this product and it's on my list for my next Lush haul lol.
The smell is gorgeous and it does exactly what it says on the tin lol...I noticed a big difference in the softness of my hair and it did make it quite shiny which is normally hard for my hair :)

Review: Lush Big Shampoo

Todays next review is Lush Big Shampoo which costs £9.90 for a 330g tub

What Lush say about the product -
Sea salt shampoo for shine, softness and big endowments. This pot of oceanic goodness is 50% sea salt to give limp hair the volume it deserves, with seaweed infusion to soften hair and citrus juices for shine. After using Big, your hair will be bouncing back to life.

What I say about the product -
I am not sure whether I like this product or not and until I make up my mind I won't be buying the tub ( I got a free sample during my 1st trip into Lush)
While washing my hair it felt ok, once rinsed and that my hair felt clean but once my hair was dried my hair felt dirty again ( I don't know if anyone else has experienced this?)
So on that note I dont wanna to buy a product that doesnt leave my hair feeling clean as I don't know if this is normal or if the product just didn't agree with my hair?
Anyone else had this problem with Big???
In regards to the scent and texture I loved it and I would purchase it again if only my hair didn't feel dirty after it dried again :(

Review : Soap & Glory Flake Away

Next review is Soap & Glory's Flake Away, costs approx £2.25 for the 50ml size and £6.50 for the 300ml size so obviously the bigger one is better value.

What S&G say about the product-

Transforms your scaly legs from reptilian to radiant. Nothing eliminates dry surface flakes as fast as Flake Away™. For superhero-strength skin smoothing spa body polish with Shea Butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar.
Apply a handful of Flake Away™ onto damp skin and massage in circular motions until most of the grains are gone. Rinse well, pat dry and apply body glossing oil such as Easy Glistening™ or moisture butter such as The Righteous Butter™.
One round in the shower with this scrub and no-one will ever have to know that all this time you’ve been flaking it.

What I say about the product -

I like the product but I honestly don't think it does as good a job as a scrub, I noticed a slight change on my skin but nothing that would make you say "wow!" I would maybe use this product again as an inbetweener scrub during the week and a more vigorous scrub once a week or so.

It still has a lovely scent and the texture is ok, maybe a bit too smooth for a scrub which is why its not as effective as others I have used.

hi all, sorry if this post looks wrong i am posting from my phone.

What happens when you dont pay attention!

I was having a chat with my sister tonight on MSN while painting my finger nails and this is what happened!

I dont even want to know what would have happened if my foot wasn't there! Poor carpet :(

Heres my first time trying with my finger nails, definately not perfect but all the fun is in the practicing I like it all the even if the flowers are crooked in every nail apart from my thumbs haha!

My Fauxnads came!

Wow! How fast were the to arrive! I only ordered on the 26th I am happy girl right now haha!

I got 12 plates, 2 of those are french tip plates, in total they 103 different designs, I also got a stamper and scraper. This set cost me £10.99 plus .99p postage :)

Going to go have a play now expect some new pics later :)

This months weigh in!

Hi all, I weighed myself for this month on Thursday and I have lost another 6lbs grand total now 41lbs!!!
I have gone down another dress size and now weigh 12st 7lb I havent weighed that from I was at school.

I am hoping by going home next week wont set me back in my weight loss, you know what its like when mum and grans home cooking come into play haha!
