Stubbies!

I cut my nails! I took a look at them last night when i removed my polish and they really didn't look good :(

So i have cut them down and will begin again lol! I have just painted them with China Glaze limbo bimbo!

I will get my nail storage post up soon i promise just need to find a way of getting all the pics from phone to laptop first cos i done collection pics too he he!

nail polish reorganisation!

Before!

Try it Thursday!

Hi all!

So Thursdays are going to to be the day when I post something new I have tried for this week,
today I have gradiant nails :)

What I used: In order
Collection 2000 in Hula Hoop (base pink)
Stargazer in 104 (neon pink)
Stargazer in 147 (glitter)
finished off with Stargazer topcoat in 140

I used makeup sponge to sponge on the neon polish over the lighter pink. I got the sponges in Poundworld and think there is 50 in the bag, I tore the one i used in half so can get another use of it :)

I like how this looks and will definately try it with different colour ways :D I looks really pink with the sun shining on it!

I seem to be getting a lot of hits to my blog when I publish new posts but no comments :( please comment girlies it will make my day :D

Another new feature :)

Tuesday is going to be a music dedicated post from what music I have been loving this week

My fave album I have playing non stop this week is Bruno Mars' new one

Doo Woop and Hooligans!

Boy does it have so good tunes on there my personal fave is Talking to the Moon as I identify so much with that song at the minute with something I am going through.

Overall the whole album could just be played on loop constantly all day every day and I would be happy hehe!

What I'm Reading Monday

Hey chicks and dolls!

Bringing a new wee feature to my blog, I am going to try and stick to a sort of schedule on here with random posts thrown in between as usual hehe!

So Mondays I am going to do a what I am reading post - hopefully I manage to finish the books in a week to bring a new book each week, or on second thoughts if I give myself 2 weeks for each book, I can show you all the new book and blurb on the first week then do a review of it on the second week...what do you think???

Barry M Shatter Polish

Hey all just a quick post!

As most of you will know Barry M have released a special effects shatter polish lately. I was lucky enough to be able to get one a bit ago but only in the last week or so been playing with it!

I must say i love it! Its hard to get the technique down at first with not overlapping or applying too thinly but once you do you can achieve some great looks :)

I am still camera less so the pic i have uploaded with this is from my phone excuse the poopiNess of it :(



I will edit this later to show more pics of looks i have done as i have been removing one mani/pedi and doing another one straight away lol!

Have any of you tried it? What do you think? I want them to bring out more colours especially for spring/summer as am not sure i want to be running around with black nails in the sunshine (insert wishful thinking here!)

Has anyone been watching Genuine Ken???

I love it, its the quest to find America's perfect boyfriend just like Barbies Ken :D

Whitney Port from the hills is the judge and its really cute, kinda like ANTM with challenges and eliminations etc...

I have watched 3 episodes so far and my fave contestant is Kurtis Taylor....

Seche Vite help

Girlies, I need some help....

I bought a bottle of seche vite, have got about half way through the bottle and its now gone gloopy and more or less really sticky to the point where I can't get it to come out of the bottle!

Is there any way to rescue it? Is there anything I can put in it to thin it out and not waste my money?
If not is there anything I can do for future bottles to prevent this from happening altogether?

Any help would be appreciated muchly :)

I was disappeared....

...but now I am back!!!

Where have I been? I hear you all asking as soon as you see me pop up in your readers...

Well the truth is, I have been here but I have battling a few inner demons in my own wee head in regards to a few choices I need to make and also just been in a bit of a depression funk where I haven't wanted to do much nor had I any motivation what so ever :(

So just to catch up now, I am back - still not feeling the greatest in terms of headspace but have decided I need to get back to what I was doing (and enjoying) I am planning a whole new look and loads of new post ideas for this blog so please if I still have any readers out there then keep watch cos I am hoping to turn this into my fun outlet cos my life at the minute aint really!

The last post I done was 22.6.10 which is disgracful and am sorry I just abadoned you all but I needed to break away from everything and try to come to my decisions but given that its now 7 months later and I still haven't decided then its obvious am getting no where fast :(

I have a good few posts planned for the next few days so I am hoping to get them up before Monday and then start my new posting schedule :)

I have stopped using Twitter but you can still find me on Facebook and obviously email aswell which should be in my profile :)

I had a great Christmas, I went home to Ireland to spend it with my family and it was fab, just sorry I had to come back here then to spend New years on my own but hey ho thats life eh?

Oh...the posts you will see belonging to me over the next bit aswell will be either from my webcam or the manufacturers product photos as I lent my camera to my friend in the summer and she lovingly broke it and still hasnt replaced it :( just a wee pre-warning incase you are wondering where my "great" photographs where hehe!!!

Ok am rambling, its almost 1.30am I really need to try and sleep I have a doctors appt at 9.30!!!

My first swap

So as you all know I participated in my first swap and I loved every second of it...have just realised i am crap at taking pics lol cut off a bottle of polish!

I swapped with Kim and she was amazing I got so many brands that I cannot for the life of me get here and if I can its mega expensive, she also got my waaay to many for what we agreed but it is much appreciated and I couldn't thank her enough :)
